As an experiment for Halloween 2026, I am going to roll storytelling dice, the scary variant, and see if I can create a story from the dice. These stories are mostly for a fun read. They aren’t stories I’d submit for publication, only to get the creative juices flowing.

The rules are:

1. The story has to be less than 500 words.
2. The story must include all elements shown on the dice.
3. The story will be done in a storytelling fasion, with no dialog.

At the bottom of each story is an image of the dice I rolled.
