Set among such diverse locations as Faerie Forest with its sparkling lights, a town of only criminal population, and a farm where a runaway stepdaughter is welcomed, the legends of triumphant heroes and foul villains are captured within these six short stories.

Kingdom’s Advent is a collection of short stories and my third novel. The stories capture events preceding my first novel, Kingdom Come.

The six tales of Kingdom’s Advent are represented below. Each title links to a subpage further describing some aspect of Kingdom related to the story. The pages are intended to be read after finishing the stories (spoilers).

Kingdom’s Advent presents six stories of hope, loyalty, wonder, and fantasy. In Aeron’s Choice, two child merchants trapped in a city of criminals must find a way to make a living, but beware—danger lurks around every corner. Gooseberries describes the trials of a young, magically-challenged pixie who must find her place in the world. In Rose and Coal, a young lady arranges to bring together two of her best friends in marriage until things get out of hand. The story of Oh Well is about a young slave and a kind landowner who meet every day at a wishing well, growing fonder of each other. Do Not Save the Princess tells of a hunter who saves the life of the one person in the city who would rather die than be rescued. And in Abandoned, a band of pilgrims come across a homeless waif who hides a great deal about her past.
