Projects

This page will detail my writing projects with various sub-pages for more information. If you are curious about any of my projects, please contact me at:

By the numbers. As of December 2025, I have 5 published novels, been included in 9 anthologies, and have 25 short stories published. In 2026, I will add one novel and one anthology to those numbers.

Forlorn Harbor. My YA supernatural horror novel about teenagers trapped in an eerie movie serial. Think Pleasantville but with a hint of Netflix’s Midnight Club. It’s called Forlorn Harbor. Here is the page on it for this site. Forlorn Harbor will be published in 2026 by Rowan Prose Publishing. I’m working on strategies to get this book to all interested readers. Click here to preorder (or order after May 2026): https://books2read.com/u/bokJk1 If you are interested but don’t want to purchase yet, please go to goodreads.com and select “Want to Read.”

DEED. Looking for an espionage adventure with a little fantasy. I have a self-published novel called The Department of Extraordinary Emigration and Delivery, or DEED, is available on Amazon. It is Mission Impossible with mythical creatures. It has a 4.4+ star rating (out of 5) on Goodreads from over 50 reviews. Read more about DEED on this page.

Kingdom Fantasy series. This is my high fantasy / fairy tale series which I publish independently. You may go to my Kingdom Fantasy page for more information or navigate the menus. Comparable titles for my Kingdom novels include Into the Woods (Sondheim’s play) and C. J. Redwine’s Ravenspire series. These novels and collections may all be purchased through many channels, including Amazon. Please, if you decide to read it, leave a review on Amazon and Goodreads. Also, I have provided many of my short stories set in this world for free on this site.

I’m also querying an adult mystery / thriller novel called Games People Play. Seven people are secluded to play test board games until they realize they are the ones being played. A good comp title is The Guest List. See the Games People Play page.

My short stories have been available on Havok (https://gohavok.com) and Every Day Fiction (everydayfiction.com). I’ve also been included in many anthologies like Havok’s Casting Call , Havok’s Legendary, Who’s the Monster , Don’t Go in the Water , Tales from the Forest, and The Invisible Files, and more. See this page for my short story projects.

I’ve written a YA novel called The Stranger of Shadow Oaks which I periodically query. I’m always looking for beta readers. A mystery / adventure / urban fantasy wrapped into a tale of a hidden town and a presence that threatens it. Perfect for people who liked The Devouring Gray.

I am currently working on an adult fantasy titled The Charmulet. Set in the present on an alternate world similar to Earth, a young man sets out to find a consort to assist him in his bid for the presidency. With five women competing for the role, adventure turns to suspense and mystery as one by one the candidates are murdered by a man in a cape and fedora.

I’m also working on murder mystery set in an art gallery where all the characters are ghosts. Someone has murdered four people and turned them into specters, bound to the wings of the gallery. They must come together to solve what happened to them the night of their murder. The tentative title of this work is Captivation.

I’m usually developing another novel or collection of short stories for the Kingdom fantasy and always love to hear from beta readers and reviewers. If any of my work interests you, please let me know.
