Below is an action scene from the book Kingdom Come. If you haven’t read it, our growing band of heroes are trapped in the barricaded, dangerous town of Exile. As fate would have it, our adventurers find themselves in that town on a night when the zombies invade the town.

From the book: “We looked toward the end of the street and watched as a group of shadowy figures rounded both corners, cutting us off from proceeding. The dead eye sockets, the mismatched limbs, and the stumbling gait chilled me more than the snow. Helga reacted first. She reached over her back to unhook her ball-and-chain pike.
